Minor re-ordering to include replacement of choir pews with chairs, installation of projection screens and video camera to side of organ casing, lowering of pulpit by a few inches, carpeting of chancel, levelling of floor in south aisle, installation of fitted cupboards for chair storage and relocation of British Legion standards. DAC approved, CBC and SPAB were concerned about the fitted cupboards and there were a number of objections from the parish including Lord Monk Bretton whose family gifted the choir stalls. Storage space is at a premium and the architect has designed bespoke cupboards to envelop the altar in a horseshoe and has revised his design in response to CBC’s concerns. The changes are designed to enhance worship and mission and for more flexible use of the church. The choir stalls are to be placed in storage and a recipient church found that could house them. Faculty granted subject to conditions.
