The conference will consider issues of religious liberty with reference to a decade of judicial determinations under the Human Rights Act 1998 and in the light of developments heralded in the Equality Bill. Three distinguished and authoritative speakers will explain, analyse and question the impact of these developments for churches particularly in the area of employment in what promises to be a lively and informative day.

The conference will begin with coffee and registration at 10.00 am and conclude at 4.30 pm after Evening Prayer. The day will include the Society’s AGM.

Professor Christopher McCrudden – Lincoln College Oxford
Dr McCrudden has been a fellow of Lincoln College since 1980. He is currently a Professor in Human Rights Law in the University and a (non-practising) barrister (Gray's Inn).
